Senior Civil & Structure Engineer

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Registered with BEM
  • At least 10 Years of working experience in Civil & Structural Design works in on-shore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in brownfield plant.
  • Knowledgeable to operate STAAD pro, AutoCAD and ESTEEM.
  • Able to do BQ estimation for cost estimation and as-built purpose.
  • Able to do inter-discipline co-ordination and possess good communication skills with client and sub-contractor.
  • To supervise Civil & Structure Engineer in executing Civil & Structure design engineering work.
  • To deliver drawings or documents according to the requirements within the expected timeframe.
Job Descriptions:
  • Responsible for delivering civil design engineering work efficiently and in a timely manner during proposal and project delivery stage.
  • To perform civil and structure design engineering work which includes;
    • To study ITB documents and develop the design basis.
    • To prepare Bill of Quantity and physical check on drawings.
    • To perform minor design calculation, drawings and report works.Engineering Design Work
  • To check and verify drawing from civil sub-contractors accordance to the guidelines or procedures.
  • To liaise with the clients on the engineering deliverables (drawings or documents) as per clients specifications.

Procurement Coordinator

Job Requirements:
  • Communicate with vendors for quotation submission.
  • Coordinate with other departments on their requisition requirements with vendors.
  • Negotiate with vendors for better rates/deal.
  • Nominate and finalize vendors selection to float request for Quotation (RFQ) and monitor quotation submission.
  • Distribute quotation copies to Project and Engineering and report submission status to Procurement Group Leader.
  • Assist Group Leader in finalizing Vendor Selection upon receipt of quotation tabulation and evaluation from Project or Engineering.
  • Liaise with Transportation group in Tax Exemption/Local Sales Tax and logistic matters prior placing orders.
  • Assist and expedite delivery of purchased goods through Procurement Tracking Report.
  • Liaise with Project, Construction and Account department for Vendor Invoicing dossier and prepare Request for Payment (RFP).
  • Liaise with QA/QC department on quality issues for items being purchased.
Job Descriptions:
  • Degree in Business Admin or any Engineering discipline or Diploma with relevant working experience.
  • Exposure in handling procurement matters locally and internationally.
  • 4-6 years working experience in the same field, preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Project & Office, Primavera, etc.
  • Able to work in team and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written)
