Lead Risk Specialist

Job Description

§  Assist Head of Risk Management in establishing and communicating the organization’s Enterprise Risk Management objectives and directions.

§  Assist Head of Risk Management to develop and communicate risk management policies, risk appetite and risk limits.

§  Assist Head of Risk Management in developing and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

§  Communicate and facilitate the use of appropriate Enterprise Risk Management methodologies, tools and techniques across the organization.

§  Oversee and in some areas implement the planning of risk control actions for the organization’s critical risks (such as liaison with regulators, business continuity plans).

§  Monitor and, where appropriate, drive the implementation of agreed loss prevention programme and risk mitigation strategies.

§  Assist management with the integration of risk management within the strategy development process.

§  Cooperate with all functional groups to establish, maintain and continuously improve risk management capabilities.

§  Implement appropriate risk reporting to the Executive Management and Board.

§  Provide an independent view regarding proposed business plans and transactions.

§  Continuously review the risk implication of business developments including projects.

§  Assist with capital and resource allocation decisions.

§  Support Health, Safety and Environmental risk management systems and activities.

§  Provide training and information in order to embed a culture of risk management best practice through the company.

§  Cultivate relationships with external consultants and supervise work programmes.

§  Keep up to date with risk management trends and techniques.

§  Support the Operations group (Production, Technical and Maintenance departments) in relation to risk management systems and activities.

§  Conduct risk assessments as required and lead risk assessment activities in relation to HAZOPs and other externally driven risk assessment activities.

§  Support the Risk Centres, lead and facilitate risk centre workshops and provide advice and training as required.

§  Manage and maintain up to date the Corporate Risk Register and corporate risk database; support the maintenance of other risk registers in the company.

§  Support and co-ordinate the annual risk survey conducted by the company’s insurers and reinsurers.

§  Maintain the policies, standards and procedures with regards to Risk Management in Information Management System (IMS) to ensure they are up-to-date.

Minimum Qualification:

§  Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.

§  Relevant qualification in Risk, Finance or Safety Management is an advantage.

Minimum Experience:

§  5 – 7 years of experience in a similar role in Risk Management.

§  Experience of leading HAZOPs or similar risk assessment activities will be an advantage.

§  Experience of Business Continuity Management practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards promoted by BCI and ISO.

Information Management Specialist

Ensure that ORYX GTL meets the requirements of the Document Management Standards, that integrate information security and intellectual property requirements.

Minimum Qualification:

–  Bachelor of Science or Equivalent.

–  Certification in the field of Documentation Management.

–  Certification in ISO 27001

Minimum Experience:

–  5 years of experience in Information Management position and Managing Information Security

– Oil and Gas experience is an advantage.

Job Specific Skills:

–  Documentation Management Standards

–  Ability to implement information security elements

–  Experience in Implementing and Maintaining ISO 27001

–  Ms Office Suite

–  Using Business Management System such as SAP

–  Planning and Organizing

–  Data Collection and Analysis

Senior Business Analyst

Work closely with departments and IT & T to ensure that requirements are addressed before a technical solution is designed and implemented. Play a key role in the strategic planning and project lifecycle to ensure that the final solution meets business objectives. Gather data from various system to extract knowledge and insight through data mining and predictive analytics.

Minimum Qualification:

– Bachelor Degree preferably in MIS, Business Administration or related field.

–  Diploma in a Computer related discipline is an added advantage.

Minimum Experience:

–  2 – 4 years of experience is a similar role.

–  2 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is an advantage.

–  Business analysis

–  Operations’ systems knowledge

Technical Manager

Develop and implement Technical Function strategies and plans with an emphasis on maximizing growth, revenue and profitability, monitoring plant and market performance against delivery timeline objectives and targets, maintaining positive internal customer relations in order to promote and facilitate a smooth functioning of ORYX GTL equipment and / or facilities.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumental or Process Engineering.
  • Masters Degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 8 – 10 years in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.
